Assurance Home is located on 16 acres in the town of Roswell, New Mexico, a beautiful town of approximately 50,000 at the foothills of the mountain El Capitan and 70 miles from the mountain town of Ruidoso, N.M.

Our property includes the main house where a majority of the children live, the James Ranch Youth Shelter and several apartments for our In-Reach Program, a large front yard, basketball court, greenhouse, shop, horse stables, riding area, pasture and a beautiful one acre ropes course.

There is a population of children who have been so hurt and so abused that they are unable to live successfully in family settings and often experience multiple placements in foster homes. These children need stability in their lives and they need a place where they feel they belong. Assurance Home exists in order to provide stable, loving guidance to these young people so they will have a strong chance of growing into happy and productive adults.
