A small group of boys and girls living in a homey atmosphere. The loving guidance of a team of professional counselors. Experiential programs such as art therapy and horsemanship.
These are the elements of Assurance Home that distinguish it from most other facilities for at-risk youth. They are what allow us to make a greater impact on the lives of children. They are why we have a reputation as a well-respected and successful program.
As actress Ali MacGraw once said, "Without Assurance Home, many children would be lost forever, and we live in a time of too many lost children."
Governed by a local Board of Directors, Assurance home is a nonprofit organization that opened its doors in 1979. We are a therapeutic group home for boys and girls ages 12 to 18 who are homeless or considered "at-risk."
Thanks for visiting. We hope you’ll join us in creating a positive change in the lives of troubled youth through compassion, respect, opportunity and example.
